New release: Angel In The Snow

Angel In The Snow – Ethan says, "I wrote this song the winter after a close friend passed away. Snow angels are usually made in happy moments, and I guess I wanted to remember better times. There's something quietly spiritual about a fresh snowfall, both during and just after the storm, and I tried to keep that hushed feeling in the music." The song is featured on the Zone Nights playlist. "Ethan does not disappoint with his country vocals sounding distant [and] those simple chord progressions offering a counter mood to his introspection… there is a grace to this track that is in keeping with the season we find ourselves in." – mp3hugger music blog.

In The Tree By Your House – How do you get someone's attention without being a pest? Well, maybe the answer is to become an "annoyingly interesting guy," as the lyric recommends. While we ponder that one, the music digs into a kind of low-riding reggae groove. Just added to the Big Indie playlist – thanks From the Strait! "Cool chill vibe here," says Havoc Underground. Girl At The Rock Shows says, "This definitely has a fun groove to it." Check it out on Spotify.

The Emperor Of Ice Cream – This is the fantastic Wallace Stevens poem set to music. It was recorded at Seaside Lounge in Brooklyn with a live band. All the footage in the video was shot at the annual Village Halloween Parade, a must-see event in New York City. Give It A Spin said, "Now this is how the emperor of ice cream must feel :) It has a nice theatrical oomph to it!" and Grotesqualizer added, "Nice mix of the track, we like the atmosphere. Nice brass section, memorable vocals."

Christmas Is Here! – A holiday finger-popper that sounds like it's been around forever. With a groove reminiscent of classics like Jingle Bell Rock or those swinging Sinatra tracks, the groove hits a sweet spot and works it all the way to the North Pole. The lyric revolves around the tag line: "Wake up and smell the gingerbread, man" – or is that, "Wake up and smell the gingerbread man?" Either way's A-OK!

All In A Day's Work – The song's propulsive groove was inspired by New York City's dynamic street scene, and the arrangement flows from a stripped down beat to an ecstatic choir sound – think Daft Punk meets Eilish's Bad Guy on the B-52's tour bus. "Danke für deinen Song. Guter Track mit schönen Vibes, guter catchy Beat" – Nightcore Venyx. Blackcode says "Cool vibe, quite original, never heard something like this before so well done!"
